We advise airports, governments, security companies, and equipment manufacturers on optimizing airport environments within passenger and staff processes. At the core of our consultancy lies the delivery of practical solutions to support strategic and operational decision-making processes. Beyond traditional outputs like client workshops and presentations, our solutions include digital tools for process monitoring, as well as models and simulations of new processes under development. Our primary goal is to contribute to enhancing civil aviation security while simultaneously optimizing the airport experience for both passengers and staff.
Your role at Point FWD
As Solution Support, you will support the consultancy team by translating internal models, data analyses, and operational insights into practical digital solutions for client projects together with a small team of solution experts. You will help make complex analytical work more tangible, usable, and scalable by developing tools, prototypes, and platform features that support smarter decision-making in aviation security.
Below are some key focus areas, for you as a working student Solution Support:
- You will learn to develop and improve digital tools and prototypes that support consultancy projects.
- You will support with improving internal models and process analytical input and help translate them into practical tools or platform functionalities.
- You will work on designing user-friendly UI/UX components that improve the usability and effectiveness of internal tools.
- You will contribute to the innovation and expansion of platform functionalities that help optimize client processes.
Your profile
- A student with a passion for (vibe) coding and software development and interest in data-driven products.
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor'sor master’s degree in relevant area of study or have affinity with (vibe) coding and software/platform development.
- You have affinity with Gen AI tools such as Claude code, ChatGPT Codex, Gemini or similar platforms.
- You have an eye for how software works and how it feels for the user, with an interest in UI/UX and visual components.
- You are available for approximately 16 to 24 hours per week alongside your studies.
- You can work independently, ask the right questions and take ownership.
It's a plus if:
- You are familiar with Microsoft (Power) Platform and are interested in learning how tools such as Power Pages, Dataverse, and Power BI can be used to build practical digital solutions.
- You already have experience with JavaScript, Python, data visualization, dashboarding or UI/UX tools is a plus.
- You are eager to learn how to write clear, structured code and how to build solutions that are usable, reliable and easy to understand. Experience with (vibe) coding is a plus.
- You are curious about aviation security and interested in how software can improve operational processes.
